Learn about our 4 comprehensive training components:

We support the comprehensive development of "neo -rural" communities in acquiring the sustainable tools necessary for implementing their new life plans through experiential learning and social and environmental responsibility .

Comprehensive Living Classroom (AVI)

In response to the need for sustainable food production, we created a self-sufficient farm model in Moniquirá, Boyacá. At 1,700 meters above sea level, we developed a 7-hectare Comprehensive Living Classroom where we integrated 14 production systems that combine agriculture, animal production, and basic food processing, all with minimal agrochemical use.

Through practices that regenerate the soil and restore lands degraded for decades, we demonstrate that it is possible to produce with respect for the land and in service to families.

Experiential Learning

At La Esperanza, you'll be involved in daily farm tasks at your own pace, learning firsthand how an integrated and sustainable system works.

Together we reflect on what you know, what you can learn, and how to apply that knowledge to your own life project.

We live a reverse experience: first you do, then you understand. Thus, you internalize sustainability principles through action.

You also participate in community activities to strengthen social ties and collective learning.

  • Time Bank

  • Community work days

  • Training courses and workshops

  • Field days

This is our Educational Model

  • Volunteering

If you're interested in learning from experience, participating in research, or applying your knowledge of agricultural production, this program is for you.

As a volunteer, you'll also connect with the local community, sharing your knowledge with diverse groups in the region.
